Robert Wix is a volunteer who gives his time freely to promote kendo in the Nottingham area. He is insured through the British Kendo Association, has First Aid certification, Sports Coach UK safeguarding training, is a Level  2 Coach and active DBS as a professional educator. Robert has spent over a year training in Japan, and is a regular visitor to Koubukan Dojo in Tokyo (spread over a twenty year period and at least 15 visits at last count). Robert also travels regularly to Europe for kendo events.
